At Circle Interiors, we pride ourselves on our extensive and up-to date research into materials currently available, their safety, durability and their effects on the environment. Following is a brief overview of the issues we take into account when selecting materials:

Health and Wellbeing

Looking after our health in a world increasingly filled with chemical contaminants is a priority. At Circle Interiors there are options for different health requirements, including solutions for people with asthma and/or chemical sensitivities.

With furniture from Circle Interiors you can rest assured that the utmost care has been taken to limit indoor air pollutants commonly found in adhesives, paints, varnishes, laminates, and reconstituted timber products.

We offer clients choices in materials based on various globally recognised certifications and individual needs. One of the most common certifications we look for is the European E1 standard.

Ecological Sustainability

In order to sustain life on this planet, resources must not be used faster than they can be replaced. Buying durable products, and using them for as long as possible is a great way to conserve resources.

Circle Interiors furniture is made to last. The highest quality materials and finishes are used, so the years will add character to your furniture and you will want to keep it in the way we keep family heirlooms and antiques.

We offer clients the choice of timbers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The Forest Stewardship Council promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. For more information about the FSC visit http://www.fsc.org

Care and Maintenance

The beauty and durability of your Circle Interiors furniture can be maintained for generations with a few simple tasks.

When a particleboard surface gets chipped, it is virtually impossible to repair. Our painted or varnished plywood on the other hand, can be fixed with wood filler and sanded or just re-painted to return it to excellent condition.

In order to restore shine, any exposed timber can be re-oiled or varnished without needing to be sanded prior to application.
